Andrew ALLAN was the oldest son of David ALLAN
and lived with his parents until he and his brother
Alexander took up a selection in the Mardan area of
Gippsland. After working together clearing a
property known in Koorooman, near Keongatha, he
continued working the farm while Alex took another
selection nearby. He married Agnes Lester in 1902.
Andrew developed a hernia as a result from a fall
from a horse. A hernia that was to contribute to
his death.
