DEDICATION
This Historical Record is
published as a dedication to the Generations of
Allan's that, through sheer determination and
dedication, have made the farm known as "INVERLAIR"
located at 12 Nichol's Road, Mardan South, via
Leongatha, Victoria, Australia what it is
today.
Firstly to my Grandparents,
Alexander and Mary Matilda Allan (McKinnon) and his
brother Andrew.
To my father John
McKinnon Allan, who worked the farm from an early
age, and my mother Irma Enid (Hobson.)
To my Uncle Richard (Rix) and
his wife Frances (McCartin) who were co-workers and
the next generation to farm this property.
To my brother, John
Barrie Allan, who also started working the farm
from an early age His wife Sue () and daughter
Tanya who continue to share in this venture.
Also to my cousin, Alex Allan
and Lynette (Burge) who, until recently, farmed the
northern end of Inverlair after the farm was
divided.
